1. Ani Daluk Alaikh (אני דלוק עלייך)

If you’ve got feelings for someone—but aren’t sure if those feelings are reciprocated—then this phrase is a good starting point.

The phrase “Ani daluk  alaikh”, literally means “I’m on fire for you”.But when removed from its literal context, it means “I have a crush on you”.

2. At Kol Kakh Yafa (את כל כך יפה)

Simple and to the point, “At kol kakh yafa” means “You are so beautiful”.

You can often strike up a conversation with another person by complimenting their looks. Telling them they’re beautiful is an easy way to start talking to them.

3. Ani Ohev Otkha (אני אוהב אותך)

The Hebrew phrase “Ani ohev otkha” is as diverse as its English counterpart.

It means “I love you”, and it’s a phrase you shouldn’t be afraid to use liberally. The world needs a lot more love, after all.

4. Ani Khoshev Alaikh Ke’Yoter Miydida (אני (חושב עלייך כיותר מידידה

This phrase is perfect for a situation that happens frequently for people. Falling for your friend means you start seeing them in a different light altogether.

5. Ata Kol Kakh Khashuv Li (אתה כל כך חשוב לי)

If you find yourself attracted to your friend and would like to talk to them about it, the phrase “Ani khoshev alaikh ke’yoter miydida” can help set up the conversation. It means “I think of you as more than a friend”.

What can be better than telling someone what they mean to you, right?

The phrase “Ata kol kakh khashuv li” means “You are so important to me”. Its versatility means you can use it in non-romantic situations, too, as well, so don’t be afraid to tell your people that they’re important to you.

6. At Goremet Li Lirtsot Lihiyot Adam Tov Yeter (את גורמת לי לרצות להיות אדם טוב יותר)

While it’s certainly a longer phrase than others on this list, we believe this phrase perfectly captures that feeling you get when you want to be better for someone.

“At goremet li lirtsot lihiyot adamtov yeter” means “You make me want to be a better person”.Note that this is a gender-neutral phrase—as the word ‘adam’ in Hebrew means ‘person’ or ‘human’—so you can easily use it no matter the dynamics of your relationship.
