It’s about an alternate reality depicting the current state of Israel, but with an independent and super Orthodox state in Jerusalem that has cut itself off.

The show builds momentum when a girl is kidnapped from her secular lifestyle and ordered to return to her religious parents, which causes tensions. The star-studded cast features some of the most beloved actors, so you’re guaranteed to be thoroughly entertained.

Valley of Tears

This series was an instant hit, and HBO is planning on releasing it as an original on an undecided date in the future. It also happens to be one of the most expensive series made locally.

It’s a moving story about the momentous life of three different groups of soldiers as they fought front and center during the Yom Kippur War in 1973. It is not historically accurate hence doesn’t classify as a documentary, but it is educational nonetheless.
